A cleric from Lagos says, "I invited Pasuma, Portable to win souls." December 8, 2023

Aderemi Dabiri, the founder of a Celestial Church of Christ branch in Lagos State, stated that he invited street-hop artist Portable and Fuji singer Alabi Pasuma in order to attract new members.  The cleric revealed this in a video in which he was shown speaking to a task force delegation from the church that had come to his parish to meet with him. Recently, the White Garment Church faced harsh criticism for bringing secular performers to its praise night celebration.  Dabiri disclosed that the two artists' selection was made with the intention of drawing out the outcasts in the community. He claimed that the pattern of evangelism had increased his church membership while also working well for him over the years.  "This is not the first time we have invited guest artists," he stated. Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus: "I've been fighting brain disease."

The Yoruba Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus disclosed that she is suffering from encephalopathy, a neurological condition.  She made this revelation on Tuesday in a post on her official Instagram account,( @officialbisolabadmus.)  Encephalopathy is the medical term for brain injury or disease. It occurs when your body experiences a change that impacts your brain or when there is a change in the way your brain functions. According to Webmd, those modifications result in a changed mental state that leaves you perplexed and unable to behave normally.  Badmus revealed that she had been fighting the condition for more than a year.
